THE VINEYARD: We harvested the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cool-climate sites, which provided the ideal conditions for superb sparkling wine. The Chardonnay comes from Madonna Vineyard and Hyde and provides crisp apple and citrus elements, while the Pinot Noir is sourced from Rolling Oaks, adding a soft berry note.

THE VINTAGE: The 2021 vintage was excellent and mild. Moderate drought resulted in lower-than-average yield, but produced small, deeply concentrated berries of excellent quality. The wine aged en tirage for 26 months and was finished with a small dosage of Chardonnay.
