STEWARDSHIP
At the heart of our transformation is a deep commitment to sustainability. Our winery is Napa Green certified and the vineyard in which our estate stands has been certified by the CCOF as organic since 2023. We've advanced our water conservation, recycling winery water for irrigation, capturing rainwater, and using smart soil sensors. We also have made upgrades to improve efficiency in energy and resource use including being one of the first to transition to electric tractors.
Reinforcing our winemaking precision
Our new cellar and equipment continue Robert Mondavi’s legacy of winemaking innovation, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. Our winemaking approach is focused on expressing the true character of each vintage and vineyard. The new cellar enables us to take this even further, featuring a range of fermentation vessels in various sizes that allow us to ferment small vineyard lots separately, capturing optimal ripeness and character. Advanced equipment throughout the winery enhances our ability to monitor and control the winemaking process.
Reimagining our
hospitality
We’ve drawn inspiration from our heritage to revitalize our winery. Historical elements have been restored and renewed. Like our iconic tower that now houses our library of wine archive. Light-filled, open spaces blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, enhancing the connection to the vineyard, and inspiring a deeper appreciation for the winemaking process. Art, gardens, landscaping, and sustainable architecture all tell the story of our intimate relationship with nature, and stewardship of our land.
