In the heart of Napa Valley lies the legendary To Kalon Vineyard, renowned for producing some of the finest wines in the world. Within this historic site, I Block—a five-acre parcel planted in 1945—stands out for its rare, old-vine Sauvignon Blanc. These head-trained, never-irrigated vines yield small, intensely concentrated grapes that embody the vineyard's unique terroir. From these grapes, I Block Fumé Blanc is crafted, offering aromas of stone fruit, citrus blossom, green plum, and wild herbs. On the palate, juicy white peach, vibrant stone fruit, and zesty citrus unfold, balanced by a creamy mouthfeel and a long refreshing finish.

Composition 100% Sauvignon Blanc

To Kalon is situated on prime benchland in west Oakville. The well-drained soils combine with ideal sun exposure to yield rich, complex flavors and flawless fruit maturity. The fruit for this wine was sourced from the historic I Block in To Kalon Vineyard, which o ers a dried herb character and minty quality that is markedly di erent from any other Sauvignon Blanc in the world. Each of the four sections within this block has its own unique flavors – peach from the western portion, citrus from the eastern portion – that when combined, pop in the glass.

Pts. Wine Advocate "A drought vintage, there are just under 100 cases of the 2021 Fume Blanc I Block To Kalon Vineyard. From dry-farmed, head-trained vines planted in 1945 and harvested August 23–27, it's 100% Sauvignon Blanc, all barrel fermented and aged in 40% new French oak. Scents of struck flint, crushed stone and a distinctive fumé character appear on the nose, joined by notes of passion fruit, fig, and nectarine. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied, generous, and ripe, with a long, harmonious finish.
